We are seeking a Mission Test Operator (MTO) to bridge the gap between Engineering and Operations teams by executing basic test protocols with precision and reliability. This role involves operating and maintaining integrated hardware and software systems while ensuring safety and performance standards are met. MTOs are trained and qualified to perform specific tests independently, supporting seamless operations and innovation.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute basic test procedures and protocols as directed by engineering teams.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to facilitate smooth test operations.
- Perform data collection, reporting, and assist in troubleshooting issues.
- Operate vehicles, machinery, and equipment as required, adhering to safety protocols.
- Utilize software tools to track and manage tasks to completion.
- Establish hardware and software connections for system updates and applications.
- Learn and implement vehicle preventive maintenance procedures and safety processes.
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (CDL not required).
- Experience driving standard pickup trucks; heavy equipment or forklift experience is a plus.
- Basic understanding of two-way radio operations and computer systems.
- Strong interpersonal skills to foster effective communication within and across teams.
- Detail-oriented, dependable, and committed to punctuality and preparation.
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with testing procedures, protocols, and ticket tracking software.
- Experience handling hardware/software systems and applying updates.
- Previous experience in data collection and generating reports.
